The most expensive ice-cream is called "Golden Opulence" Sundae. The Manhattan restaurant, Serendipity 3, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2004 and as a publicity stunt it decided to create the most expensive ice-cream in the world.The Guinness Book World of Records has recognized them for accomplishing the goal that they set out for themselves. On the menu the 1.000 dollars ice-cream received the gold medal for the title of world's most expensive ice-cream.The Golden Opulence contains: Tahitian vanilla bean ice-cream infused with Madagascar vanilla covered in 23 K edible gold leaf, Amedei Porceleana chocolate (the world's most expensive chocolate), chunks of rare Chuao chocolate ( made out of cocoa beans harvested by the Caribbean Sea on the Venezuela's coast).
